Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!  The Alice West Fleet Elementary PTA is thrilled to start a new year of enjoyment, education, and community engagement.  Learn more about our PTA below.

OUR PTA

The mission of the Alice West Fleet Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is to enhance the educational experience of the student body and build a strong community between the students, their families and the school. This is accomplished through (1) Community Engagement; (2) Educational Programs and Projects; and (3) Support Opportunities. 

The PTA is the liaison between the Fleet staff, educators, caregivers, and the community around the school.  The PTA works closely with teachers and administrators to enhance the learning environment, funding essential projects, organizing events, and advocating for policies that benefit all students.

The PTA is led by an annually elected all-volunteer Executive Committee and other volunteer board members who serve on committees and provide assistance with activities and engagement. The PTA follows bylaws to ensure transparency and equity. 

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

During the 2024-2025 school year, the PTA will convene the larger Falcon community by hosting five meetings that will coincide with engagement activities and educational opportunities.  These meetings are tentatively scheduled for:

• Sept. 17 (in person) - Meeting + BINGO
• Nov. 19 (virtual) - Meeting
• Jan. 14 (in person) - Meeting 
• March 6 (in person) - Meeting
• May 30 (in person) - Meeting + Volunteer Recognition + Student Dance

MEMBERSHIP

PTA membership is just $10 per adult family member per year, and includes parents, guardians, and teachers of Fleet Elementary School students.
